What is an A-TF System?

A-TF stands for Aquatic-Terrestrial Facilitation. Ship structure varies in terms of accommodation based on crew demographics. A predominantly terrestrial crew is required to allot reasonable deck space for aquatic officers and vice versa. The USS Diagne is one of many ships within Starfleet that accommodate a mixed aquatic and terrestrial crew.
