A-TF stands for Aquatic-Terrestrial Facilitation. Ship structure varies in terms of accommodation based on crew demographics. The USS Diagne is one of many ships within Starfleet that accommodate a mixed aquatic and terrestrial crew.
Cordry rocks are installed throughout the aquatic corridors to aid with deflector functionality.
